The scrolled pierced toprail above a pierced splat flanked by splindles, with a shaped arms and pierced armbow supports above a solid saddle seat, on cabriole legs joined by turned stretchers, and squared feet, three feet spliced, front left foor re-attached, the underside inscribed in chalk '402'
