Made in imitation of fifteenth century prototypes, heavily potted with compressed square body with faceted corners surmounted by a tubular neck and painted with flowering convolvulus vine reserved on a yellow ground, the neck flanked by a pair of monster-headed handles, the whole raised on a spreading pedestal foot, with apocryphal Xuande mark on the base
