A LARGE BRONZE SHALLOW TRIPOD RITUAL VESSEL, PAN
LATE SPRING AND AUTUMN PERIOD, 6TH CENTURY BC
Raised on three stout supports, the shallow sides cast with a band of backward-facing dragons filled with scrolls and granulation, with a pair of faceted lug handles suspending loose rings
17½ in. (44.5 cm.) across handles
