Comprising Qur'an I, sura al-fatiha, v.7 and Qur'an II, sura al-baqara, vv.1-275, Arabic manuscript on vellum, 62ff., each with 9ll. of sepia maghribi script, with blue, red and green diacritics, gold and polychrome roundel verse markers, gold and polychrome illuminated khams, 'ashr, hizb and juz' markers in the margins, some of these markers within the text, sura heading in gold kufic on red ground within an illuminated cartouche bordered with gold strapwork and issuing a circular palmette to the margin, in stamped brown morocco covers, loose in binding, minor losses, small staining
