Persian manuscript on paper, 378ff. as numbered plus two modern fly-leaves, each folio with 18ll. of black nasta'liq organized in two or three columns, with double gold and/or polychrome intercolumnar divisions, opening illuminated bifolio with text within cloud bands on gold illuminated ground, gold and polychrome illuminated headpieces, section headings in red nasta'liq within cartouches, with illuminated cartouches interspersed within the text, catchwords, with fifteen original miniatures, later owners' notes and seal impressions, in later stamped brown morocco cover binding with flap, loose in binding
