Arabic manuscript on paper, 254ff. plus 4 fly-leaves, each folio with 15ll. of strong black naskh with gold and polychrome rosette verse markers, juz', hizb, sajada and 'ashr marked in gold naskh in the margins, sura headings in elegant gold tawqi' verging on thuluth, some towards the end of the manuscript with later illumination or black outlines, the opening bifolio with 6ll. of naskh between two panels with gold calligraphy on ground of spiralling vine and surrounded by gold and polychrome illumination, in later red morocco with stamped medallions and green paper doublures
