Of conical form with a tall faceted neck, one side enclosing a sulphide of Robert Burns, marked J. Moore at the truncation, the other with William Shakespeare, both engraved with foliate sprays

Joseph Moore, English (1817-1901) is recorded as a medalist in Birmingham. He was awarded a prize for his work at the London Exhibition of 1851.
