Lot Essay

The approx. knot count is 9H x 9V per sq. cm.

The metal-thread is woven into the structure in a slightly different way in the medallion when compared to the field and border. This makes the medallion appear lighter in colour, similar in effect to the two tones of metal used in the best Polonaise rugs.
