A LARGE QUANTITY OF ISLAMIC POTTERY SHERDS, MAINLY EGYPT AND SYRIA AND IRAN, 12TH-16TH CENTURY
Largely comprised of blue-and-white Damascus ware wasters, with several lustre pieces, including a Hispano-Moresque piece with the remains of Roman numerals, Ayyubid and Mamluk incised buffware, some with heraldic blazons, fine Sultanabad ware fragments, a large Timurid blue-and-white fragment - approx. 100 sherds
