A MUGHAL-STYLE JADE HANDLED DAGGER, INDIA, LATE 19TH-EARLY 20TH CENTURY
The slightly curved blade of watered steel with two medial ridges, applied gilt-decorated cartouche either side, the hilt of jade carved in the form of a goat's head with ruby-set eyes and turquoise set to forehead, sheath of purple velvet with applied gilt-decorated metal fittings - 16in (40.5cm)
