Lot Essay

With Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives confirming production of the present watch with silvered dial, raised platinum Breguet numerals and small second hand in 1923 and its subsequent sale 19 June 1929.

This watch is one of the exceedingly rare examples of a Patek Philippe minute repeating watch cased in platinum to appear in public, the rarity enhanced by the applied Breguet numerals, confirmed by the Extract from the Archives. It is furthermore preserved in very good, original overall condition.
