AFTER THE MODELS BY GUILLAUME COUSTOU THE ELDER, LATE 19TH CENTURY
Each rearing horse with attendant on naturalistically-cast base signed 'Coustou', on rectangular gilt-metal mounted cut-brass inlaid tortoiseshell plinths
The bronzes: 22 in. (56 cm.) high
The plinths: 6½ in. (16.5 cm.) high; 22¼ in. (56.5 cm) wide; 10 5/8 in. (27 cm.) deep (2)
