A LATE ROMAN BRONZE STEELYARD BALANCE AND WEIGHT
CIRCA 2ND-4TH CENTURY A.D.
With long square-sectioned beam, engraved on one face with graded divisions, one end with three suspension loops with remaining hooks and loop, the other with plain cone-shape weight, 9½ in. (24 cm.) long; five Roman bronze fibulae, of cross bow form, with knobbed terminals, all circa 1st-4th Century A.D.; and a Italic style bronze fibula, 3½ in. (9 cm.) long max. (6)
