A MEISSEN TWO-HANDLED BEAKER
CIRCA 1720-25, ENGRAVED Z OR N TO FOOTRIM
The gilt vinestock handles trailing onto the body with bunches of blue or purple grapes and green and gilt foliage, beneath a gilt scroll and flowerhead border, the interior richly gilt (rim chip principally to interior re-touched to disguise it, very small footrim chip, further minute chips to footrim and another from time of manufacture, slight wear to gilding, two areas of wear to base of interior)
