Lot Essay

The model of this commode was first exhibited at the Salon d'Automne in 1919 under the reference number 571. It was possible to order it either in lacquer or in veneer. The commode belonging to Ms Dufet-Bourdelle was in black lacquer decorated with gilt flowers, on giltwood uprights.
