PROBABLY GENEVA, CIRCA 1830
The handle of translucent blue enamel applied with gold cagework on the sides and on the top with a gold calyx, the sides also with two painted enamel Alpine scenes against an opalescent ground, one panel surmounted by the initial A, the rock crystal matrix carved with initial A beneath a Princely bonnet, held by enamelled scroll brackets surmounted by four eagles displayed, apparently unmarked
