Five Cloisonné Vases
Meiji Period (late 19th century)
All worked in various thicknesses of silver and copper wire and coloured enamels, the first with floral lappets containing dragons and ho-o birds; the second with dragons, cover with chrysanthemum finial; the third with emblematic objects; the fourth with hanging wisteria on a blue ground; and the fifth with four panels with cranes and flowers
24.2cm., 8.6cm., 9.1cm., 18.8cm. and 15.7cm. high respectively (5)
