Marked Fabergé, with an indistinct workmaster's mark, St Petersburg, 1899-1904
Rectangular with rounded corners, the hinged body and cover moulded with cornerpiece and fan motifs in two colours, with cabochon ruby push-piece, marked inside cover and base, workmaster's mark apparently effaced
