Marked K. Fabergé with the Imperial warrant, Moscow, circa 1890, scratched inventory number 9103
Oblong with rounded corners, the plain body and cover hinged at the narrower end, the corners applied with scrolling snakes, their heads applied with two cushion-cut diamonds and two similar rubies, with cushion-cut diamond push-piece, marked inside cover and base
