CIRCA 1725-28, BLUE CROSSED SWORDS MARK AND GILDER'S 2. TO BOTH PIECES
Each side painted with Orientals on terraces with fences, shrubs and trees, one scene with a table with vessels and precious objects, within shaped quatrefoil gilt cartouches with Böttger-lustre panels and red and purple scrolls, the scroll handle and pointed spout with indianische Blumen below a Gitterwerk border, the domed cover with a continuous terrace with Orientals below a knop finial (cover broken through into sections and restuck, large loss at rim, chipping to spout, very slight flaking to blue enamel and slight wear to gilding)
