1630, PROBABLY CHRISTIAN WILHELM, PICKLEHERRING QUAY
Of tall cylindrical form with swelling top rim and base and angular loop handle, boldly painted with 'bird-on-rock' decoration with four birds falling from the sky above and flanked by stylised flowering plants, a flourish and the date 1630 beneath the handle, between borders of concentric line and diagonal dash and dot-ornament
