1630, PROBABLY CHRISTIAN WILHELM, PICKLEHERRING QUAY
Of barrel shape with short cylindrical neck, the loop handle with blue-dash ornament, painted with 'birds-on-rocks' flanked by flowering plants beneath a band of stylised drapery, flanked by two vertical panels and the date 1630 beneath the handle, the neck with a band of cable-ornament between concentric blue lines and with three concentric blue lines to the foot
