FIRST EDITION, PRESENTATION COPY, INSCRIBED BY COBURN TO HIS WIFE: 'To my dear little wife. From the author. Christmas 1914.' An excellent copy of Coburn's best-known book. Coburn married Edith Wightman Clement of Boston on 11 October 1912 in Trinity Church, New York. Perriton Maxwell, editor of Metropolitan Magazine, called Coburn 'the Sargent of Photography'.
