COMPARATIVE LITERATURE:
C. Avery and A. Radcliffe, eds., Giambologna: Sculptor to the Medici, Arts Council of Great Britain, London, 1978, nos. 78-80.

This model closely mirrors what is considered to be the the earliest documented version, identifiable in the 1607-11 inventory of Emperor Rudolph II's Kunstkammer in Prague and is now in Vienna (loc. cit.).
