(2) stationery cards from an American Missionary in Peking to the U.S.A. comprising 1880 (30 Oct.) 1c. card (the only recorded usage of such card in China or anywhere outside the U.S.A.) showing "SHANGHAI/LOCAL POST" double-ringed d.s. (12.11) in blue and "U.S. POSTAL AGENCY/SHANGHAI" c.d.s. (17.11), 1882 (3 Oct.) 2c. card presumably carried privately to Shanghai showing similar U.S. Postal Agency c.d.s. (11.8), and 1882 (1 Dec.) 2c. card (small tear) showing "I.G. OF CUSTOMS/PEKING" (blue, 8.1.83) "CUSTOMS/TIENTSIN" (9.1.83), "CUSTOMS/SHANGHAI" (red, 22.1.83) c.d.s.
