Lot Essay

According to the vendor he attended the Woodstock Festival with a group of eight friends. After Hendrix's performance the group made plans to leave the site, but due to the quagmire they had to wait for help to pull their van from a ditch, which meant they joined the inevitable queue to leave. Whilst waiting they noticed that Hendrix's car was stuck in traffic alongside theirs. They approached, said hello and asked if he would sign their programme. He duly obliged, whilst also agreeing to have his photograph taken.
