ADDITIONALLY INSCRIBED on the title: "William Faulkner Charlottesville, Virginia 1 Dec 1959." Laid-in is a fragment of an envelope, addressed in Faulkner's hand on a Random House mailing label, to Else Jonsson. See lot 82 for the copy of Go Down, Moses inscribed to Else Jonsson.
