Lot Essay

In this painting, the plough, interestingly enough, is the only identifiable element. Its linearity and singularity contrasts with the world of melting shapes around. The red triangle is the central, almost hypnotic, point of confrontation of the geometric, the mechanical and the shapeless, or should we say ectoplasmic, emblematic of the plough's tracing its way in the subconscious fields of man's mind.
