CIRCA 1785-90, GILDER'S H MARK
Gilt with broad dot-pattern borders, centred by gilt bouquets, within gilt ovolo-pattern rims, comprising:
Two shaped-oval sauce-tureens, covers, four stands and two ladles
Two square dishes
Two fluted oval dishes
Twelve side-plates
Provenance
Removed from 28 St. James's Place, London to Althorp, Northamptonshire, in 1923 by Albert Edward John, 7th Earl Spencer (1892-1975).
