THREE VICTORIAN SINGLE DRIVING WHIPS
VARIOUS MAKERS, LATE 19TH CENTURY
A full size lady's holly whip by Merry of St. James's, London, with white-metal band engraved 'C.S' with a coronet, horn handle and thread lash; a presentation silver-mounted holly whip by Swaine & Adeney, the silver band hallmarked 1900 and engraved 'G. Dunkley from F. Mathews, Aug 9th 1902', leather handle and thread thong; and a holly pony whip with silver handle
The shafts: 61 in. (155 cm.), 60 in. (153 cm.) and 50½ in. (128 cm.) long, respectively
Together with three turned wood whip reels (6)
