A GROUP OF HOUSEHOLD AND CIVIL SERVICE DRESS UNIFORMS INCLUDING A LORD CHAMBERLAIN'S TAIL COAT
LATE 19TH EARLY 20TH CENTURY
Comprising two Victorian dress uniforms, one being for a Lord Chamberlain, and one dress uniform bearing the King's crown, each coat with bullion ornament and accompanied by a pair of trousers with broad gold bullion oak leaf pattern stripe and a cocked hat with ostrich feather ornament, the King's crown uniform also accompanied by an overcoat with blue velvet collar; one civil service cloak; one Wrens tunic and skirt; and two other tunics; some elements contained within a tin trunk
The cocked hats each 6¼ in. (16 cm.) high
