The basin of oblong shaped form, the centre surrounded with panels of engraved vines, and with reeded border, the pear shaped ewer on stepped and fluted circular base, the plain body chased and engraved with a ribbon-tied garland wreath and swags and with leaf-capted scroll handles, the conforming cover applied with bud finial
