Each oval with plain sides engraved with a coat-of-arms, one moulded with a bunch of grapes, the other with a lobster, each with a ring handle at one end

Lot Essay

The coats-of-arms are those of François-Charles, Archduke of Austria, Crown Prince of Hungary and Bohemia (1802-1878) who married in 1824 Sophie, Crown Princess of Bavaria (1805-1872). They were the parents of two Emperors, François-Joseph of Austria and Maximilien I of Mexico.
