Meiji period (late 19th century), signed Ichiyosai Umeda Tokumitsu koku and sealed Kinseido sei
Of tapering form, in dark shakudo patina decorated in chiseled and inlaid gold, silver, copper and shakudo with cranes flying over crashing waves and rocks; signature on side, sealed on base
