Tibeto-Chinese, 18th century
Seated in dhyanasana on a double-lotus base with a beaded rim and hands in dharmachakramudra, wearing heavy inner and outer robes with floral motif incised on hems, the gentle face with heavy-lidded eyes and a smiling mouth, flanked on either side by a lotus, one bearing his manuscript
