AN UNUSUAL 'CHICKEN BONE' JADE TWO-HANDLED CUP
17TH/18TH CENTURY
The deep sides finely carved in low relief with blossoming prunus branches between the two strap handles, with pendent hooks at the bottom and carved in the rectangular tops with taotie masks and scrolls, raised on a slightly flared foot with beaded edge, the opaque stone of finely mottled dark and pale grey color
