A WHITE JADE CARVING OF TWO BIRDS
18TH/19TH CENTURY
Carved as two ducks shown sitting side-by-side as though in water, with one grasping a lotus branch in its beak and the other with a branch of millet, the feathers and legs carved in low relief, the stone of pale greyish-green color with small patches of russet coloring on one side
