TWO BLANC-DE-CHINE ARCHAISTIC VESSELS
18TH CENTURY
The first a gui-form censer impressed around the midsection with a band of stylized dragons reserved on a key fret ground, the sides applied with a pair of stylized dragon-form handles, the base with impressed seal mark; the second a gu-form beaker impressed around the bulbous waist with five bands of key fret between bands of leaves above and below
The gui 6¾ in. (17 cm.) across handles, wood cover with jade finial; the gu 6 7/16 in. (16.4 cm.) high (2)
