Lot Essay

The arms are probably for Dowdeswell of Kingham, Oxon., Redmarley, Worcs. and Harlow, Essex and may have been made for the Rt. Hon. William Dowdeswell MP of Pull Court, Worcs. who became Chancellor of the Exchequer in 1765.
