Bellied oval with gadroon rim, on acanthus leaf and stylised paw feet, bifurcated ribbed side handles terminating in foliate scrolls, part-fluted cover, crested and engraved to front with coat of arms

The arms are for Caulfeild of Charlemont, Armagh impaling another within a strap and buckle with the Caulfeild motto whereas the crest appears to be for Hall (see footnote for lot 48, the similar pair of sauce tureens).
