Shaped oval, the teapot with sides part-fluted and bright-engraved with vertical bands of trailing foliage, further engraved with arcading and navette cartouches, one with crest of gryphon sejant, the other with coat of arms, the teapot stand with fluted bracket feet, centre engraved with navette-shaped armorial cartouche, the arms differing from those of the teapot
