With large hexagonal panel featuring lozenge and other motifs in shaded enamels on cream ground bordered in lavender blue and green with rows of pink beads, centred by a blue-grey rectangular panel filled with shaded flowers in pastel shades, gilt interior inscribed To Major General Sir John Hanbury-Williams from 14 Welshmen at the Moscow Metal Works Jany. 1. 1916, green cabochon-set thumbpiece
