AN AUSTRIAN SILVER TEA AND COFFEE SERVICE
MARK OF JOSEF CARL KLINKOSCH, VIENNA, CIRCA 1880
Comprising kettle on stand with spirit lamp, teapot, coffee pot, hot-water jug, milk jug, cream jug, sugar bowl and mounted glass tea caddy, ivory handles, finials and on kettle stand bun feet, all engraved with crowned monogram BS, this also etched onto caddy's glass body, plain squat circular form with gilt interiors; together with a pair of French circular silver platters, mark of Jean-Baptiste-Claude Odiot, Paris, 1798/1809, 11¾ in. diameter (30 cm.) with leaf and berry borders; also a Continental souflée dish, probably Italian, early 19th. Century, engraved with coat of arms to match those on each platter.
