Lots 163 and 165 are reminiscent of designs illustrated in C. Payne, François Linke: The Belle Epoque of French Furniture, Woodbridge, 2003, p. 432. Several porte-potiches were supplied by Linke as part of a large order in 1909 for Elias Meyer's residence in Grosvenor Square, London.
