Surmounted by a bowed cresting, over bowed sides and cupboard door, on a bombé case centered with a panel depicting fêtes gallantes, the sides similarly decorated with amorous couples, the angles with trailing foliage, on short cabriole legs with scrolled sabots, the reverse of the ormolu molding inscribed JOS. SCH. BAUR
