A GEORGE II MAHOGANY AND NEEDLEWORK ARMCHAIR
CIRCA 1750
The rectangular padded back, seat and down curved arms covered in gros and petit-point needlepoint, the back depicting reclining figures and cherubs in a clearing, the seat with animals and birds, on acanthus carved cabriole legs with pad feet and inset castors, replacements to the ears, castors replaced, re-railed probably in the 19th Century
