Decorated overall with floral sprays, the stepped top fitted with candle-slides, above a sloping front centred by a shaped reserve with antique ruins and a river landscape, enclosing a blue floral decorated interior with drawers, a concealed compartment and a writing surface, the shaped frieze above cabriole legs headed by female busts, joined by stretchers with foliate finial and terminating in foliate-wrapped paw feet, largely redecorated, with traces of earlier decoration, formerly with further carved elements to frieze
