Of serpentine bombé outshape, the later rouge Royale marble top above a spreading pediment and three-quarter glazed door, the silk-lined interior with two glass shelves above a fixed shelf, on cabriole legs, the lockplate bearing the inscription 'VVE P SORMANI & FILS/10 R. CHARLOT PARIS'
