With iron barrel, long grip-strap, brass frame with ring-neck cock, walnut butt, brass pommel and trigger-guard, iron belt-hook, and iron ramrod, the barrel and frame each marked with a crowned 'M'; together with A 15-BORE PERCUSSION SERVICE PISTOL OF FRENCH M.1842 TYPE, PROBABLY BELGIAN, MID-19TH CENTURY, with sighted barrel, flat lock with rounded tail, walnut half-stock, and brass mounts including pommel marked 'E 238'
