With spherical body rising from short foot to slightly tapering cylindrical neck with everted rim, the body engraved and inlaid with scrolling interlaced arabesques around a band of cusped calligraphic cartouches containing Persian verses alternating with quatrefoil roundels, bands of similar roundels above and below, the neck similar, a band of meandering arabesques above and below, the underside of the foot with a band of meandering vine around a central rosette, dented, one split, rubbed, traces of silver and gold inlay, all the black composition inlay remaining, lacking original handle and cover
